Homework Guidelines
It is expected that children will spend at least the following times on homework activities:

Additional homework may be set ranging more widely over the curriculum. in the spring term revision for SATs will form the main part of homework.

At certain times of the year these guidelines will not be followed e.g. when the children are preparing for productions. If there are variations you will be informed.
These timings are in line with the Government’s recommended time allocation, based on current good practice, as set out in Homework: Guidelines for Primary Schools and Secondary Schools
